Windows 10 is spying on its users

Just a few days after the official release of Windows 10, the number of installations has reached 14 million. However, not all of those who have downloaded the update, drew attention to the issues of security of personal data.

How do I find the resource Gamebomb, the new version of Microsoft operating system literally spies on users. Windows 10 keeps track of the movement history of the user information in correspondence and calendars, and even data from contacts.

As a rule, people don’t read the user agreement, which often is not completely understood. Microsoft did not become the extra time to explain what personal data may be transferred to third parties — advertisers.

The operating system assigns users a unique ID, a system designed to show you relevant advertising. This ID is associated with an electronic mail address specified during registration, and also contains information from your calendar, email correspondences, applications, and cloud storage OneDrive. Voice assistant Cortana also collects some information. Moreover, if users ignored the user agreement, you missed one important paragraph.

“Microsoft reserves the right to “access, storage and disclosure of personal information, including the user content (the content of e-mails, information from other means of communication and files from personal folders”. This right, the company promises to use only for the benefit of, and if necessary”.

Fortunately, users can disable features that are responsible for the collection and storage of their personal data. To do this, go to General settings of the OS, go to the tab privacy options and disable unwanted functions. Otherwise, the operating system will not have to file the form that collects personally identifiable information, in the hope that users will not notice.
