Samsung Galaxy S8 vs iPhone 7 Plus: quiz performance in real tasks

Last week, Samsung introduced a new generation flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 and S8+, which is based on latest version of Android 7 “Nougat” with “limitless” screen, iris scanner and intelligent voice assistants Bixby. The creators of the project XEETECHCARE as part of testing of new products conducted a comparative test of the latest South Korean smartphone with the iPhone 7 Plus to find out which device is more productive.

New Samsung smartphone has received display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels (aspect ratio of 18.5:9) vs 1920 x 1080 pixels smartphone Apple, but at first the screen size is 5.8 inch, and the second – 5.5 inches. Samsung uses a display panel with the technology of AMOLED, the Apple – IPS.

Heart iPhone 7 Plus is a Quad-core processor Apple’s A10 Fusion. Galaxy S8 is powered by the flagship Snapdragon processor 835. While the South Korean device has 4 GB of RAM, while the iPhone 7 Plus is 3 GB.

Algorithm testing Galaxy S8 or iPhone 7 next: author of the video performs the same task, launching identical applications on each device, and then evaluates performance. Such a comparison is more close to reality than running benchmarks.

Synthetic tests show the superiority of the Galaxy S8 on the iPhone 7 in test mode using all cores. But how well speaks Korean “eight” in real tasks? The answer to this question can be found on the video below:
