ZTE during a presentation in China showed a new smartphone Axon Mini. Features of steel 5.2 inch display and a fingerprint scanner. Previously it was thought that the first smartphones with Force Touch will become the flagship of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This technology was first introduced as a key feature of a smart watch Apple Watch, and later appeared in the MacBook and MacBook Pro. However, in the mobile market the Chinese have managed to stay ahead of the competitor.
The Apple Watch owners actively use this technology: pressing with force on the screen of a smart watch to display the context menu, which you can use, for example to mark or delete a letter in the Mail. If you have a Mac, can a little harder you press on the trackpad to fast rewind the video and control the speed by the pressure. In ZTE did not disclose the characteristics of the Axon Mini. His older brother Axon Lux, which debuted a week earlier, got a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal memory.
The premium version of the device, Axon Lux, has a more advanced parameters – 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The model is positioned as the world’s first smartphone that you can unlock three different biometric methods – using fingerprint recognition, voice and eye scanning.
ZTE Axon Mini supporting Force Touch technology, will be on sale in September and will be available in silver, gold, orange and pink colors.
