In 11 iOS GM developers continue to find new details about Apple’s upcoming products. So, Steve Trouton Smith found the system requirements for streaming 4K video on Apple TV the fifth generation.
According to the code, discovered by developer, for stable streaming 4K video will require an Internet with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps. the details of restrictions were found in the line “NetworkNo4KForYouSubtitle”, which displays the text “May the speed of your Internet connection below 15 Mbit/s, or you have a problem with the network”.
All in the same iOS 11 GM, but in another place, Trouton Smith found resolution support 2160p UHD and Dolby Vision and HDR10. The first information about these formats appeared in the HomePod firmware in August 2017.
Rumored Apple TV of the fifth generation will introduce on September 12, along with the new iPhone and Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE. 11 in the iOS Golden Master found information about the three smartphones: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 and iPhone Plus X.
