Russia has released a free app “Anticounterfeiting ALCO”, which you can use to determine the legality of alcohol. The application created the Federal service “Rosalkogolregulirovanie”.
“Anticounterfeiting ALCO” works on iPhone as well as Android and Windows Phone. It lets you scan the barcode on the stamp. The program will offer point the camera at the barcode or the QR code receipt, which is issued at the checkout.
The application requests via the Internet to USAIS. At the same time on the smartphone screen should appear information about the product and its path from producer to retail outlets. If not available, this product is counterfeit.
“The detection of defective or counterfeit alcohol is necessary to apply to law enforcement agencies”, — noted in the oblpromtorg.
For lovers of alcohol-containing liquids in the app are the closest legal points of sale of such products.
The developers have added in-app button “Notify”: the screen form will open with exact coordinates of place where was found the “left” alcohol, the message is requested to attach a photo and comment.
