The number of Tele2 subscribers in Moscow reached 2 million in less than six months after launch

At the end of 2015, according to the estimates of AC&M Consulting, in mobile networks of Moscow was registered 43,19 million active SIM cards. By this time, Tele2 has sold 1.3 million contracts, that is, accounting for 66.5% of all connections. If operators “the big three” (MTS, “MegaFon” and “VimpelCom”), the number of subscribers in Moscow since late December has not changed much, the share of Tele2 in March 2016 could amount to about 4.6%.

According to him, by the end of 2016, Tele2 can take 10% of the capital market.

The analyst of Gazprombank Sergey Vasin named the achievement of the 10% threshold to the minimum necessary for the development of mobile business in any region. This share allows you to align the balance in inter-operator payments.
