Next week, Microsoft will introduce the fourth generation Surface Pro, so there is nothing surprising in the fact that the Internet appears more and more rumors about this device. This time information is subject to unique properties of the display of a competitor iPad Pro.
In the past it was reported that Surface Pro 4 will have a more thin frame around the screen. Today sources said that they will be so thin that the top and sides will be almost impossible to distinguish, and only the bottom can be seen the frame. This design is compared with edge-to-edge laptop Dell XPS 13.
So that users can work comfortably with the device in tablet mode, Microsoft has prepared a new feature called Smart Frame. The display will automatically change size depending on the mode being used. In particular, the screen will be able to switch from 13 inch to 11 when you activate the tablet mode, then the edge of the screen will not respond to touches and they will be more convenient to use.
If this information is correct, then Microsoft had to either move the Windows button, or even to abandon it.
Apple introduced its large-size iPad Pro in early September. The device can boast of a 12.9-inch display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels, the new 64-bit processor A9X, which provides a level of performance, “not inferior to most handheld PC” and support for Apple Pencil – input device, whereby the process of drawing and sketches becomes the most comfortable and natural. Sales model will start next month.
