Huawei introduced the Honor smartphone flagship V8 with dual camera

Huawei at a special event in China has unveiled its new flagship smartphone Honor V8. A distinctive feature of the device is the dual camera.

Honor V8 has a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels or 2560 x 1440 pixels, depending on the version of the Communicator. Both versions use the panel type IPS with rounded edges 2.5 D. the heart of the model lies single-chip platform Kirin 950, which is complemented by 4 GB of RAM. The version with the QHD display offers 64 GB of internal memory, but with Full HD – 32 GB.

On the back side of Honor V8 is just two cameras, each of which has a sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels and 6-element optics with aperture f/2.2, but adds them phase detection autofocus and dual-led flash. One of the cameras of the smartphone shoots in color, the other makes a black-and-white images. This, as noted, allows us to achieve more detailed photos in good lighting and to reduce noise in the dark. Supports dynamic 3D panoramas. The front is located an 8-megapixel camera with aperture of f/2.4.

Honor V8 supports work in LTE networks, and has modules Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and in some configurations, and even NFC. The dimensions of the phone that is dressed in a metal case, is equal to 157 x 77,6 x 7,75 mm, and it weighs 170 g. Capacity built-in battery is 3500 mAh and is charged via the USB port-C.

The most affordable V8 version of Honor with reference to a specific cellular operator in China will cost $350. Model with Full HD, NFC, and without reference to the operator costs about $385. A model with a QHD display and other improvements valued at $430.
