Monitor AOC presents i1659fwux, which can be connected to the Mac via USB 3.0

The company AOC has announced a monitor i1659fwux that can be used as a secondary screen for MacBook. A special feature is the ability to obtain a signal and power over a single USB cable.

In i1659fwux AOC used LCD panel 15.6-inch with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The claimed brightness and contrast are 220 CD/sq m and 700:1 respectively. The response time of the pixel 25 MS, however unlikely it is to confuse the buyer, because the novelty is not aiming to place the main monitor.

The device has automatically changed the orientation of the image depending on the type of installation – vertical or horizontal. The display angle may be 15° or 30°.

The monitor is equipped with an original stand built into the back panel. If necessary, AOC i1659fwux can be mounted on a wall using VESA-compliant mounting — related connectors are also provided on the rear panel. Dimensions and weight i1659fwux AOC – 442 x 295 x 85 mm 1.2 kg.

The AOC monitor is already on sale in the U.S. at a price of $150. In the set of delivery includes a carrying case that protects the product during transportation.
