Apple removed from the App Store app MacDigger for mentioning Android and news about the jailbreak

Saturday, September 26, Apple removed the app MacDigger from the App Store. The reason the company is called the rule the online store – a ban on the mention of other mobile platforms, as well as information about the jailbreak.

“Your app contains inappropriate for the platform information. The presence of references to other platforms in your application is not in compliance with the App Store”, – stated in the message Apple. The company provides a few screenshots with the articles, the title of which is the word Android. The authors MacDigger requested to refrain from publishing the article with the mention of competing smartphones on the platform. The displeasure of Apple, in particular, was caused by the article “In 2016 appears Android smartphones with 6GB of RAM”.

The second claim Apple’s jailbreak. It’s no secret that MacDigger regularly covers news for the jailbreak community, talks about the exploits and tweaks. This information in the company also considered objectionable.

“We found that your app or the metadata includes information and articles about the jailbreak, which does not comply with the iOS Developer Program License Agreement that provided by the rules of the App Store,” Apple wrote.

Last update MacDigger 1.3.1 was released in may of this year. Since then, Apple did not miss a single update. Rejections from 26 August substantiated by reference in article clone HTC Aero A9 and flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
