Apple delays the start of the key features of iOS 9 because of a bug in iCloud

Apple is delaying the launch of important functions Slicing App that allows to save space on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 9. The company wrote in the newsletter for application developers.

“Slicing App currently available for iOS 9 and the error associated with the feature of backup iCloud where some apps from the App Store can only be restored on the same device.

When the user downloads your app iOS 9, it gets the generic version and not the version for your device. TestFlight will continue to provide different build applications for your internal testing. App Slicing will work in the following software updates”.

Function Slicing App is one of the components of App Thinnig, the meaning of which is that the iPhone and iPad will load into memory only the necessary code so that games and apps will take up much less space.

App Slicing does most of the work. Because the applications are created under a large number of devices, from 3.5-inch iPhone 4 to 5.5-inch iPhone 6s (or, in the case of universal apps, 9.7-inch iPad), they contain all the data for each device of the device is not needed.

App Slices allows developers to separate data packets, by types of devices, and when the user is downloading the app from the App Store, the device will download only the data that he needs. Apple has made this process as simple as possible, so that most programs in the future will support this feature.

A specific timeline for the launch of the App Slicing in Cupertino was not called. Now Apple testing iOS 9.1, which will be released in open access in October or November of this year.
