Old clip of A-Ha complements Apple AR

Clip of A-Ha’s “Take On Me” from the 80-ies decided to Supplement the black-and-white figures in the style of the clip, and managed to do it thanks to Apple ARKit.

Studio Trixi decided to show the capabilities of the new platform from Apple in such an unusual way.

In an interview with The Verge, the founder Trixi Chip Sineni said, “the Most difficult was to make all the points “alive”. We used Apple ARKit, Unity 3D, GameFlow, and animation to achieve the transition effect clip into our world, instead of observing the usual graphic overlay”.

ARKit was presented at WWDC 2017, and the number of interesting projects with this technology increased exponentially. It’s hard to imagine that we will be able to see when ARKit out of beta testing and will be gradually introduced in most of the applications on your smartphone.
