Despite the criticism of the latest model of Apple’s smartphone, there are many people willing to buy a more affordable smartphone. As reported Belarusian portal Sputnik, in the first days of iPhone sales SE it sold 2.5 times more than the flagship model of the iPhone 6s.
Apple introduced a new 4-inch smartphone iPhone SE at the end of March this year. The new product differs from previous models of the phone — it is equipped with a top “filling” and is enclosed in a compact housing. The publication refers to the report of the local reseller i-Store.
“Smartphone iPhone SE was immensely popular among Belarusians: in the first days after the official launch at the salon i-Store has sold 2.5 times more iPhone SE than the iPhone 6s after the start of sales in October 2015,” said the company.
With the help of iPhone SE the company from Cupertino is expected to attract new buyers – especially those who wanted to buy a smartphone Apple, but haven’t been able to part with more substantial sums. In addition, the device is for those who would like to have top-end hardware in a compact body. Both types of buyers are equally important for Apple.
