Over the years, Apple adds a massive amount of new features in iOS, however, there is one that still lacks, is the ability to schedule the sending of messages to iMessage or SMS at a user specified time.
In stock apps Apple has not yet implemented this feature, but for jailbroken devices solution can be found using Cydia tweaks. One of them is called Kairos and is available for download on devices running iOS 8 and iOS 9.
After installation of the tweak in a long press on the “Send” button in the standard application for iOS messages menu appears in which you can delay sending, switch between SMS and iMessage, view scheduled messages and remove them from the queue, if necessary.
An interesting feature of Kairos, which makes it stand out from tons of other similar tools – disable airplane mode to send messages. After delivery this mode is switched on again automatically.
The tweak can be downloaded from BigBoss repo for $0.99.
