Apple Pay can earn in Ukraine in the second quarter of 2018

Payment service Apple Pay will launch in Ukraine in the second quarter of next year. This was stated by the head of e-business “Alfa Bank Ukraine” Maxim Patrin, citing an anonymous source in one of the payment systems.

Today Alfa-Bank in Ukraine launched a new digital service Alfa Digital, which will provide services for clients who want to have access to Finance online and in the mobile app. This service will allow you to add credit card to Apple Pay after launch of the service in the local market.

At the moment the country is not available payment system, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay. The Bank said that already are working to implement payment functionality. But while the number of customers who use smartphones suitable too little — about 5%. In addition, the experience of other countries shows that interest in mobile payments begins to grow only after the appearance on the market of Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

After at least one of these systems will go to Ukraine, Alfa-Bank integrates mobile app this option, said Patrin. Users can through mobile banking to add your card to the wallet Apple Pay.

May 17, Apple officially launched Apple Pay in Italy. At the moment the service is available in 16 countries – Australia, China, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK and USA. In Russia payment system, Apple Pay works in the autumn of 2016.
