Google is creating a competitor Periscope – service video streaming YouTube Connect

Google is developing a new streaming service YouTube Connect, which will allow users to live broadcasts from your smartphone. Given the considerable number of details about the service in the Network, to start the service remains a little time.

Judging by the description, YouTube Connect will work by analogy with the Periscope. The application will provide chat support and comments, tags and the main “news feed” that shows the highlights of last video friends or users that are signed.

Streaming video broadcasting will be implemented in the YouTube app Connect for mobile platforms iOS and Android, and on the respective channels in the web version of YouTube. However, it is known that the service does not yet have integration with Facebook and Twitter, so users have to manually share links and talk about the video.

Users will be able to log in to the app through your account in Google and YouTube and start online broadcast from your smartphone. With video streaming you can view live and save it for friends and followers could see it in the replay.

The exact date of the launch of YouTube Connect is still unknown, it is believed that Google will talk about the service at the may developers conference.

Twitter has launched a Periscope in the spring of 2015. Six months later, in August, a similar service introduced social network Facebook, but at first it was only open to celebrities and U.S. residents. In early 2016, the company announced plans to make Facebook available Live around the world. In February, Facebook has opened access to the service for all users from Russia.
