Audio player foobar2000 was released on mobile platforms

On popular mobile platforms became available the foobar2000 audio player which appreciate PC users for high-quality sound and the ability to extend the functionality through plug-ins.

Like the desktop version, the option of foobar2000 for mobile platforms supports the most common audio formats, gapless playback (no pause between tracks, which is important to record DJ sets and live performances) and also works with streaming music via the UPnP Protocol. The app also has support for ReplayGain for automatic loudness equalization audio tracks from different sources, and there is also a DSP Manager with the crossfader, resamplers and other options.

The foobar2000 interface looks quite outdated, but expect that the player that is not a thing of beauty on your PC will be prettier on smartphones, not worth it. In the next update, the developers promise to add support for third-party themes and plugins.

Mobile foobar2000 was supposed to come out on smartphones a few years ago, but its developers failed to raise the money via crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, so the release was delayed so much.

The player is completely free and available in the App Store, Google Play and Windows Store, install it at this link.
