The authors of the online magazine AnandTech published a detailed review of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. They paid special attention to the performance of the new Apple A13 Bionic chipset. They compared it with last year's Apple A12 Bionic processor and found out how much the speed of work had increased.

AnandTech reporters found that the A13 chip is about 20% faster than the A12 chip installed on last year’s iPhone models. But in order to achieve such an increase, Apple had to increase the peak power consumption of the CPU cores. Higher energy consumption can cause smartphones to overheat under high loads. It is noted that the A13 chip consumes an average of 30% more energy than the previous generation processor.
Experts said that the A13, in fact, meets the best solutions that AMD and Intel can offer for desktop computers. They were even more impressed with the performance of the A13 GPU. Although maximum performance increased by about 20%, the iPhone 11 Pro showed a 50-60 percent increase in sustainable performance in the GFXBench benchmark compared to the iPhone XS.
Note that the founder of the AnandTech portal, Anand Shimpi, joined the Apple chip team in 2014. Recently, he, together with Apple's vice president of marketing Phil Schiller (Philip Schiller) talked about the features of the new A13 chip.
