12 September Apple will unveil new products. Will be shown and new smartphones, but what name would they receive?
Previously it was assumed that will be presented to the iPhone 7S, 7S Plus and iPhone 8, but at the consumer electronics IFA 2017 denied this information.
Manufacturers of accessories that were presented at the IFA and sell their products in official Apple Store told me that this year we will not see smartphone with the prefix “S”. During the presentation we will show you iPhone is 8, 8 Plus and iPhone Edition.
The source, who chose to remain anonymous, said that the iPhone Edition will have wireless charging and is protected by Gorilla glass 5.
Nothing strange in such a name there — it is worth remembering the iPhone 5C or SE, which are an offshoot of the main line, as the iPhone Edition will be a more premium device in the line.
