Our colleagues from 9to5Mac unearthed confirmation in iOS 14 that the new affordable iPhone 9 smartphone, also known as iPhone SE 2, will save Touch ID, a fingerprint scanner built into the Home button. Numerous insiders said this, claiming that the new iPhone will inherit the design of the iPhone 8 with the same 4.7-inch display and the Home button below it. However, at the very beginning it was claimed that the heir to the original iPhone would switch to Face ID facial recognition system. The novelty will receive support from the Express Transit service for paying for public transport trips in London, New York, Portland, Beijing, Shanghai and Japan.

Also in the iOS 14 code, mention was made that the new iPad Pro models will receive a triple main camera with a ToF sensor. This means that in terms of the quality of shooting, the new tablets will not be inferior to the latest iPhone models. In addition, the ToF sensor comes in handy for the Apple AR Kit.

Recall, the release of iPhone 9 is expected in late March. Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Apple refused to hold a presentation and instead simply adds a new smartphone to the site and starts selling. But the new iPad Pro models will probably be released no earlier than autumn.
