The Patent and Trademark Office has approved another Apple patent. The new patent application describes an Apple Watch smartwatch with a gesture recognition system. In the future, users will be able to control the watch with one hand. For example, it will be possible to configure the launch of certain functions when you compress your palm into a fist, rotate your hand or move your fingers. At the same time, Apple provided protection against false positives. It will be implemented as follows: when setting the clock screen, a progress bar will appear indicating how much you need, for example, to keep your fist clenched to read the movement.

Unfortunately, the timing of the implementation of the patented technology is not indicated in the documentation. But the gesture system is unlikely to appear on the Apple Watch this year. Its implementation will take several years.
