Yota Devices will transfer production of the YotaPhone in China

The Russian company Yota Devices is preparing today to sign an agreement with China’s ZTE factory and to relocate their production, according to the newspaper “Kommersant”. The final agreement, the company expects to sign by the end of September.

In the latest manufacturer YotaPhone, the Singapore factory Hi-P, Yota Devices within two years appeared frequently “point of tension”. “We all criticize for the price but it was like this because of the very high cost of the device,” said Martynov.

The CEO of Yota Devices Vladislav Martynov believes that working with ZTE factory will make the next generation YotaPhone more affordable. “The most qualified professionals focused on large brands such as ZTE. Working with them will make the next generation YotaPhone more technologically advanced”, he added.

Despite the high risk of copying the idea of the device Martynov believes that such risks are greater when working with small factories: large brands like Huawei, Xaiomi, Lenovo, ZTE I value my reputation and “will not compromise”.

The head of Yota Devices also announced that the company plans to enter the operating return at the end of this – early next year.
