The company Yandex has updated the mobile application Yandex.Navigator. In addition to the traditional bug fixes, the new version includes a feature to save routes and favorites in the cloud, as well as native support for 3D touch technology in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Update for Navigator is already available for download in the App Store.
Now, favorite places, marked in the app, are stored on the Yandex service and become available on all mobile devices the user. Besides your location, the updated app has learned to memorize the history of the destinations. “For example, you can enter the address and calculate the route in the evening and in the morning just to choose the purpose of the trip in the list”, – explained the developers. In order to use these functions, the application needs to log in.
Another innovation concerns the 3D Touch. Users of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are now able to build routes home or to work right from your desktop – just with the effort to click on the icon of the program.
“Yandex.Navigator” helps the driver to find the optimal path to the goal. The app paves the route taking into account traffic jams, road accidents, repair works and other traffic events. The program rebuilds the route in a timely manner, based on constantly updated information. In addition, it warns about accidents and surveillance cameras, as well as displays additional information about buildings and other objects.
The previous update to “Yandex. The Navigator” was not less productive – the company sold an additional means of voice control and prevention on toll roads. Prior to this program did not take into account road toll which drivers were charged a fee. And very often the drivers know that they will have to fork out at the last moment – seeing the barrier item for payment collection.
The first version of mobile Navigator Yandex was released in spring 2013. Now its monthly audience is about 2 million people. Each month the Navigator download about 300 000 times.
