The company “Yandex” has announced that the application Yandex.Maps for mobile on iOS. Changes are associated with the user interface of the application and the function of routing. The new version called index 6.6 is now available for download in the App Store.
In Maps on iPhone and iPad now there is a point of “Home” and “Work”. Save these addresses and you will always know how much time it will take to get there. If you have already added them in the widget Traffic on the website yandex.ru can only log in to the app using your login.
Furthermore, in the updated version of the program the journey home or at work can be viewed in the notification center on the tab “Today”, along with the scores of traffic jams so you never have to run once again the app itself. And the residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev can now disable the forecast congestion on the tab that he didn’t take up too much space.
In addition, the developers of “Yandex” has decided the problem with the app in iOS 7: some users complained that the app would suddenly close. Also improved the stability of the program in offline mode and fixed a bug on iPad – sometimes the card was not full screen.
Note that after the previous update of the building on Yandex maps became large, and the objects — for example, shops and cafes — glance thanks to the icons and labels on the diagram.
