Xiaomi will introduce a MacBook Air clone with support for LTE-networks 23 Dec

Xiaomi invited members of the press to the presentation of the new notebook, which will be held next week in Beijing. The announcement will take place on December 23 — this date is shown on anticipating the premiere of the invitation next to a laptop computer.

“Chinese” Apple showed the world their own laptops recently, but, apparently, the company felt it was time to offer customers a new model.

Judging by the picture, the laptops do not undergo any changes as part of the design, but you will get built-in LTE modem — next to the clock on the computer screen visible indicator of network signal with a characteristic icon of “4G”.

It may happen that the only novelty compared to the current line will only be integrated cellular modem. But it is logical to assume that Xiaomi will also update the hardware and provide next-generation processors Intel Kaby Lake.

The current Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air is actually a copy of Apple’s MacBook Air. Notebooks feature a 12.5 or 13.3-inch display with Full HD resolution, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and USB C. Junior model weighs in at 1.07 kg and is built on a processor Intel Core M3 6Y30, but the older adding weight to 1.28 kg, offers performance, the Intel Core i5-6200U.
