Windows 10 will install updates as macOS – no sudden restart of your computer

Creators Windows 10 Update, Microsoft has disabled the PC reboot at the most inopportune moment. Instead of having to randomly restart the computer, the new version will allow you to defer the installation or update prompts you to select the most appropriate time for this. Previously, the user could ignore the warning about Windows 10 restart and lose any unsaved data at the automatic installation of updates. Now “ten” will not automatically restart a computer and will provide a choice of three options.

The OS prompts you to restart or install the update with the user’s consent, schedule a reboot on the selected date and time, or to postpone the update. To postpone the installation of update Windows 10 will be not more than 3 days. After this period, users will once again provide an opportunity to defer the time of update.

In addition, users already have the option to choose “silence” during which the OS will not be allowed to restart the PC. It is limited to 12 hours. For example, if you use the computer at night, you can change the clock activity, to Windows 10 install updates only during the day in your absence and Vice versa.

The Creators update Update to Windows 10 was presented at the end of October. The update will bring the OS a few “creative” features as well as enhanced support for the transformation of 2D content in 3D. In particular, in the application Sticky Notes will be new languages and hotkeys in Windows Ink — quick access functions for handwriting, and in Paint and PowerPoint — support of 3D mode.

Also Creators Update will come with the service to stream gameplay Beam, a new program for private tournaments Arena on Xbox Live and various functions for interaction with the audience. Update launch is expected in spring 2017.
