WhatsApp users for iOS have gained access to new functionality of the popular messenger. The app update is already available for download in the App Store.
With the release of new version of WhatsApp debuted three new functions — filters, albums and labels for a quick response to messages. In the photo, video and GIF you can now apply one of five filters. They allow you to make the image more vivid or correct problematic lighting in the photo. To choose a suitable effect, it is enough to swipe left or right.
Currently, WhatsApp offers filters: “Bright”, “Black and white”, “Cold”, “Chrome” and “Film”. Edit so you like just made and existing data.
When you send 3 or more photos WhatsApp for iOS automatically organizes them into albums. The recipient can open and view pictures in full screen mode.
You can quickly reply to a specific message in correspondence with a simple swipe to the right. A message appears at the bottom of the chat and the user can immediately type a response. The feature will be particularly useful in group conversations.
On the possibility of occurrence of these features on Android, information yet. “In the future we would like to add these features in the Android app, but I can’t yet say when this will happen,” – said representatives of WhatsApp.
