Apple is preparing a single One subscription for all its services
According to Bloomberg, it will be presented simultaneously with the iPhone 12 in October. Several variations will be available: the most basic one includes Apple Music and Apple TV +, the next "level" adds Apple Arcade, and the most top-end option assumes all of the above, along with a subscription to Apple News + and additional iCloud storage. An Apple One subscription will be more beneficial than a separate service subscription, but there is no final price yet.
Engineers presented a case that will get to charging itself
South Korean engineers showed a smartphone case that is equipped with two motors and six "legs", so that it can move independently. One of the examples shown – threw a smartphone on the table, and he himself got to wireless charging. Conveniently!
Google is developing a system for informing about earthquakes
Android users will receive notifications automatically. So far, this works only in California, and for this, Google has agreed with the authorities to provide data from 700 seismometers. In states where seismometers are not available, the company plans to use smartphones that will form a single observation network.
Xiaomi introduced the transparent TV Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition
It is a 55-inch OLED panel capable of transmitting light. The refresh rate is 120 Hz. A MediaTek 9650 processor is installed inside, support for MEMC and Dolby Atmos technology is declared. The thickness of the display itself is only 5.7 mm, but there is a rather massive stand where the speakers and "brains" of the TV are located. From today, the TV is available for purchase in China for 49,990 yuan, which is approximately 525 thousand rubles.
