Viber Media released a new version of the official client for iPhone and iPad. In the update index 5.6.5 the developers have added the ability to send any files to delete messages in chat rooms, as well as to have easy answers. New version of messenger is already available in the App Store catalog.
Now users can use Viber interactive notifications. Reply to messages is allowed directly from banner notifications, lock screen or from notification Center without opening the app. The function works only on devices with iOS 9 and above.
Another innovation in the update of the Viber chats. Users got the ability to delete sent messages, even if the person got it right. Previously, this option was only available on the desktop version of the application. There was a feature to upload files for sharing documents, presentations, archives and other file types directly using Viber. Photos and videos can also be sent from your iCloud storage.
Finally, for Viber 5.6.5 declared support for Spotlight. To search messages and contacts in the messenger is now possible via the built-in search in iOS. This option also only works on devices with iOS 9.
In a previous update, recall, Viber has increased the maximum number of characters up to 7000 and added the ability to send posts from public chats.
