Video smartphone Xiaomi and Vivo with a built-in display fingerprint scanner may be a fake

Now the rumors in the industry claim that the first smartphone with a built-in screen fingerprint sensor will release the Chinese manufacturers.

This week came the video, which depicted the new smartphone Vivo is equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner, located under the display surface. Later was shown a video in which the user unlocks the smartphone Xiaomi Mi 6, putting a finger to the display.

However, analyzing the data plots, generated some doubt about the real application of the optical module in both devices. In the video we show how a user unlocks the smartphone with a simple touch of a finger. Unlocking is accompanied by a corresponding animation.

As you know, Xiaomi Mi 6 scanner built into the Home button. There is a suggestion that this video shows the not yet released version of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, but the dimensions of the gadget to the contrary.

A more simple explanation is as follows: author of the video used a special IOS or theme that replace the message “Tap to unlock” on the image of the fingerprint.

The same technique could be used in the case of the smartphone Vivo.
