Video Periscope you can now watch via Twitter

Social network Twitter has launched a new feature that allows you to watch broadcasts Periscope directly in the Twitter feed. This is stated in the press release of the company.

Twitter specifies that broadcast will be displayed automatically in the tweet in real-time. If the broadcast has already been completed, video will display in the record. If you click on it, it will be played in widescreen format with sound, you begin to see comments and “likes” from other viewers. At the same time, in order to record videos or leave comments for other entries, users still need to use the Periscope.

“Previously users were able to share in your tweets are only a link to the broadcast Periscope, now they can embed their videos and watch other people’s broadcast, without leaving Twitter”— said in a Twitter message.

Previously, Twitter allowed only to post links to streams, they were required to set up an account in Periscope and install the companion app. Presumably, the novelty will allow to increase the maximum allowed number of commentators of the broadcast is still in Periscope there was a limit to 100 people.

Experts differ in assessing such step for Periscope. So, the reviewers from The Verge suggested that due to the novelty hits of the broadcasts will grow. In turn, The Guardian cited the opinion of one is not the integration of proof that the Periscope was not able to become an independent ecosystem. The publication noted that auto-play broadcasts may lead to a waste of traffic, or fast discharge of battery in case with the mobile version of Twitter.
