Company Porsche has officially unveiled the updated 911 Carrera sports car. The public debut of new items will be held next week at the International motor show in Frankfurt, but now we know that the car will be to support auto Apple CarPlay interface.
Apple CarPlay gives regular multimedia system control functions connected to her iPhone. And trivial file playback and voice communication is not limited. Customers who have installed the latest version of iOS for iPhone 5/5s or iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus, will be able to use the voice commands Siri to make calls, compose and listen to text messages (SMS), access Apple Maps navigation Maps, your music libraries, numerous podcasts and Apple Music service. The updated Porsche owners can manage the applications not only by voice, but using 7-inch touch screen with gesture recognition system.
As far as the exterior of the Porsche 911 Carrera, the changes are of a minor nature and will catch the eye of only the most devoted fans of the brand. For example, the car got a little different headlights with led daytime running lights, wheels of a different design, a little different tail lights door handles and other.
Under the hood of a sports car is a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo “six”. In this version of the Carrera engine develops 370 HP and 450 nm, and modifications in the Carrera S – 420 HP and 500 nm.
