UAE has granted Apple permission to open in Dubai, the world’s largest Apple Store

Apple was one step closer to the opening of the world’s largest Apple Store. Tradin g point will appear in Dubai – the largest city of the United Arab Emirates. Permission to open a store from the UAE authorities were received this week.

After last year’s meeting, Apple CEO Tim cook with the leadership of the UAE in the press talking about the opening of the first retail shop of the American company in the middle East. This trading point is really open, and it will be the largest in the world the California giant. The delayed launch of Apple Store in Dubai has been associated with local laws. Regulators UAE for a long time forbade the practices of any companies controlled by foreign owners. Recently, however, local authorities have adopted a series of regulatory documents that support foreign investors.

At the moment the world’s largest Apple Store is under construction and will be opened in Dubai by the end of the year. The store is located in the shopping center Mall of the Emirates is on the second floor of the Fashion District section from the main entrance. Vending space will be approximately 50,000 square feet (4645 square meters), which is 20% larger than the largest currently retail store Corporation in London’s Covent garden (occupies three floors).

The total area of the complex Mall of the Emirates reaches 2.4 million square feet (almost 223 000 square meters), where there are over 700 shops, 5 star hotel and a private ski resort.

Dubai is the largest commercial, financial and tourist center of the Middle East and is famous for its luxury shops and hotels. According to media reports, the second Apple Store in the country will be opened in the capital Abu Dhabi on-site shopping Mall Yas Mall. The approximate timing of the launch were not disclosed.
