Twitter has launched a video in the format 360 degrees

Twitter has launched broadcast panoramic video through the online service Periscope. It happened two weeks after Facebook announced plans to launch its own rollers with 360 degrees.

The popular social network announced the advent of video with a viewing angle of 360 degrees: now microblogging network appeared to be able to publish videos in a new format.

“Starting today, you can real-time to examine everything that happens in the world using the videos in the format 360 degrees. You will get the opportunity to be behind the scenes of famous events and to get acquainted with famous personalities,”— said in his Twitter blog.

Twitter explained that all the videos in the new format will be marked “Live 360” and they can change the angle in real time. The company notes that if you watch the video is free for all users, use the service and to publish such video may while only a limited number of people. In the company as an example has shown the first video in the new format.

In the coming weeks a new feature will be available for more users.
