Cook encouraged students to ‘think different’, do not accept the world as it is, and try to improve it. He also cited the example of Steve jobs, who called his friend and mentor.

The pace in which progress has accelerated dramatically. Thanks to technology, everyone has the tools and potential to improve the world. This makes our time the best time in history to live. Regardless of what you decide to do with your life, what you’re drawn to, I encourage you to take the power that you got and always use it. Strive to improve the world.

I didn’t always see life as clearly as today. But I found out that the biggest problem in life is understanding when you have to break conventional wisdom. It is not easy to accept the world you inherit today. No major problems will never be solved and no major improvements will never be achieved if the people will not dare to try something different, I would not dare to think otherwise.

I was lucky enough to learn from someone who deeply believed in it. He was my friend and mentor — Steve jobs. The sight of Steve was that great ideas come from a restless refusal to accept things as they are.

Did not forget Tim cook and Apple. He spoke about the principles associated with the environment and sensitive data.

We reject the idea that global warming is inevitable, so our buildings run on 100% renewable energy. We reject the excuse that getting the most from technology means to trade your right to privacy. Thus we choose another way: we collect as little as possible of your data and respectfully take care of them, because they belong to you.
