This week Apple opens 7th retail store in Shanghai

Apple continues to invest in China in the “perfect spot” where high-tech giant is now “active as ever”. This week the company opens a new 7-th store in Shanghai. Mono-brand salon will appear in the shopping center, Vanke Qibao Mall is a popular tourist location with the suburbs of Shanghai.

Qibao is one of the most hyped tourist destinations “a couple of kilometers from the city.” This “ancient city” is also called “Chinese Venice”, since the district is cut up by channels of the two rivers, passing directly through it. Here you can still find traditional cuisine, ancient customs, the real Chinese architecture and art.

Grand opening of brand outlets Apple Qibao will take place on 10 December at 10.00 am local time.

Not so long ago during his visit to China, Apple CEO Tim cook announced that the company will continue to invest in China. “I know some people worry about the state of the Chinese economy. We will continue to invest in China,” he said.

Apple is approaching its goal to increase total number of stores in China to 40. “When we reach this goal, we will not release the gas pedal,” said cook.
