The company Panic has released a big update for Status Board – brand center widgets for both iPhone and iPad. The app with the updated interface allows you to turn your iPad into informative dashboard. The most important thing is not so much the availability of a large number of interactive widgets as that Status Board allows you to create a personalized panel on the basis of the user’s personal data.
Users compare Status Board with the Dashboard in OS X. After installing the app, the main screen will automatically be filled by a Twitter user, unread mail messages, weather forecast, etc. One of the widgets is able to build graphs based on the information in the tables, the other to display a portion of a site as it is updated, and the third to monitor the exchange rate and etc. It is very convenient for users who need a “second screen” for operating information.
Any widget in the dashboard can be moved and scaled. Also information you can display on your TV using AirPlay.
Status Board allows you to build tables and graphs (you need to specify the data source in JSON or CSV) and create your own widgets in HTML5. These functions provide technical training of the user.
The first version of Status Board was on sale for $9.99, but with the release of version 2.0 of the app was free. Inside offered to buy a pack Expansion Pack with new paneling and Wallpaper.
