All-Russian state TV and radio company (VGTRK) has released the official app of the TV channel “Russia 1” for Apple TV. The novelty allows you to view the latest news and full software releases on the big screen, explore the video archive and view the show in high quality.
“Russia 1” gives full, free access to content of TV channel of RTR. Viewing open not only for current but also previous releases. So if you miss a news release or episode of a serial, the app “Russia 1” will allow you to view them at any time.
The app interface is very simple. From the tab “Home” you can instantly jump to new movies, TV shows, feature films and broadcasts, and from the tab “live” to the online broadcast. “Search” allows you to quickly find all of the program.
In addition to the set-top box Apple official application of the channel can be set to “smart” TV from LG and Samsung. Version for LG Smart TV is located in directory of LG Smart World (“Applications” → “All apps” or “Entertainment”), Smart TV Samsung — in-app store Samsung Apps.
Note that the first among the Russian TV channels app for the new Apple TV released “Rain”. The application has the ability to watch live, and also the software available in the archive.
