Financial services company Barclays has conducted another study and found out what smartphones plan to buy people. More than 50% choose the iPhone.
Barclays analyst mark Moskowitz said that his organization conducted a survey among 1000 potential buyers of gadgets from Britain, the USA, China and Germany.
72% of respondents said that they plan to upgrade to a smartphone in the next 18 months. Of these, 62% plan to upgrade within a year. 54% of them said that going to buy iPhone. Moreover, 32% want to buy the iPhone X.
Representatives of Barclays noticed that people’s opinions about flagship smartphones changed after the iPhone X on sale. In August, the company carried out a similar study. Then, only 18% of users were willing to spend on a gadget 1000 dollars or more.
Analysts also noted that 23% of respondents use an Android device, but plan to soon to switch to iPhone.
At Barclays believe that the average selling price of Apple smartphones will rise to a record $ 823 with the new model. This will have a positive impact on the company’s performance over the coming financial quarter.
