Research firm Gartner has published a new report on sales in the smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2016. The study notes that the share of iOS in the period accounted for 17.9% of the market versus 17.7 percent a year earlier. IPhone sales last quarter increased from 71.5 to of 77.04 million.
In the fourth quarter of 2016 on the world market was sold for about 353 million smartphones running Android, share mobile platform was 82%. The share of sold phones based on Microsoft OS dropped to 0.3%, while gadgets BlackBerry took virtual of 0.0% in the quantitative supply size 207 900 vehicles in three months.

Many have expressed doubt that Cupertino was able to create a mobile phone without a keyboard with a large touch screen, capable of a long time to work offline.
In BlackBerry saw no threat to the iPhone. The leadership decided that fans of the brand will not pay attention to the machine is not equipped with a physical keyboard, but fate decreed otherwise.
