The release of Tweetbot 2 for OS X Yosemite

Studio Tapbots has released a brand new version of the Twitter client for OS X Yosemite – Tweetbot 2. Presented in October 2012 the solution is an alternative to the official client and not less worthy app TweetDeck.

The updated interface of the program prepared in accordance with the fashion design trends: transparency, round avatars and minimalist controls. The update is available for free for current users, the app purchase will cost 799 rubles.

Tweetbot offers multi-window and multi-column interface that allows you to switch between your lists and General timeline. You can connect multiple accounts and view your messages in a convenient way. The program has filters with the ability to block messages from users temporarily or permanently and transparent synchronization client for iOS.

Among other things, Tweetbot supports many third-party services like bitly, CloudApp, Droplr, img.ly, Instapaper, Mobypicture, Pinboard, Pocket, Readability, and yfrog.

The developers of the explanation for the price tag is quite trivial: the price is deliberately set high to limit buying interest. This is due to the introduction of artificial limit on the microblogging service established for third-party clients. The price tag is intended to provide a return on Tweetbot and the cost of its continued support.
