The number of subscribers that applied to the MNP service rooms, has reached 10 million. Such data results the Federal communications Agency, according to which a 10-million global application was registered in St. Petersburg.
Since the launch, the number of people willing to use it is growing steadily. According to the statistics of the FSUE ZNIIS, only incomplete 2017 applications has left more than 2.3 million people.
“July 6, 2017 the number of subscribers that applied to the transfer of a mobile number (Mobile number portability, MNP) has reached a new level of 10 million requests for number porting. The ten millionth application for the transfer was recorded in St. Petersburg”, – have informed in a press-service.
“For the last 2.5 months in the database of ported subscriber numbers opened about 1 million applications for number porting, which is significantly ahead of last year’s figures and demonstrates the relevance of services to subscribers”, — the press service quoted the words Dukhovnitsky.
Representatives of the Ministry also remind that the database of ported subscriber numbers connected to all the existing mobile operators (over 40 companies), as well as a number of fixed-line operators, banks, content providers and SMS providers — a total of more than 450 organizations.
