In the second quarter, TrendForce analysts expect more than 10% increase in supply of Apple laptops compared to the previous quarter. The upgrade will provide a new 12-inch MacBook that the company is preparing to release. It is also expected that as a special promotion Apple can reduce the cost of laptops of the previous generation.
At the upcoming annual conference for developers WWDC 2017, which will be held in early June in San Jose, Apple may provide updated versions of the laptops. In Cupertino are preparing three new laptop models: MacBook Pro Intel Kaby Lake, updated 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Air with the new processor.
The updates will affect only the hardware part of the laptop — their appearance will remain the same. That is, significant changes can be expected. MacBook and MacBook Air no doubt in need of update, given the fact that the last time they received the update in 2016 and 2015, respectively.

In the first quarter of 2017, Apple took fifth place in sales of laptops. Experts noted the success of the latest version of the MacBook Pro touch pad Touch Bar, which was introduced in October of last year.
