The Muscovite, who is suing Apple, explained why gay emoticons on iPhone is bad

985 000 roubles – such sum Moscow lawyer Vsevolod Sazonov expects to pay Apple for the inflicted moral damage. In addition, he demands to ban the sale of Apple technology in the capital. The reason for this noise became gay emoticons in iOS 8.3.

“The fact that a newer operating system appeared on the smilies so-called “tolerant character” containing the LGBT symbols, for example, symbolic lovers depicted same-sex couples in various embodiments. After I discovered, primarily as a caring father and second, as a lawyer and jurist, was just forced to first pick up my son donated to iPhone and then to apply to the court for protection of rights and interests of his minor child,” said the plaintiff.

Vsevolod Sazonov claims that Apple’s legal actions “directly violate the current legislation of Russia banning the promotion of same-sex relationships, in particular the Constitution of the Russian Federation and norms of the Federal law “On protection of children from information harmful to their health and development” and the Federal law “On basic guarantees of child rights in the Russian Federation”.

“Yeah, I just noticed a potential threat to the future of your child! But how many parents did not pay attention to this problem at least for the reason that simply could not imagine that the threat of a prosperous and moral development of the future generation may be due to simple pictograms that are used by children? Because emoticons are especially popular among children and teenagers,” he said.

Sazonov says that the disputed images are in the software “one of the most popular and influential corporations in the world”.

“In my opinion, there is a real danger that the child who discovered color and positive image of happy men holding hands, encouraged by the leader in the field of information technology, unwittingly come to the conclusion that nontraditional sexual relationships are not the norm,” – said the lawyer.

“Tolerant smiles” Apple is not only immature form in the minds of adolescents installation of nontraditional sexual relations, but, worse, contribute to the emergence of interest in such abnormal relations. That’s why parents oppose the renewal of ideology and legal consciousness of children by imposing their idea of “tolerance on the verge of madness”, added the Complainant.

Scared whether Savelovsky district court of Moscow pressure Apple or will defend Russian underage? The question currently remains open. It remains to wait for the court decision. Consideration of the claim is scheduled for June 24, 2015.
