“The megaphone” following the “Beeline” connected payment in the App Store from your mobile phone

Operator “MegaFon” announced its readiness after the “Beeline” to provide customers the ability to pay for content in App Store and iTunes from your mobile phone. New payment option appeared in the iPhone settings automatically. To connect account as a means of payment need to section an Apple ID to enter your phone number and enter the code received via SMS.

“Beeline” in December of 2015 was the first in Russia and second largest cellular provider, whose customers can pay for purchases in iTunes, App Store and Apple Music from your mobile phone without the need to bind a credit card. The value thus acquired programs will be included in the bill for mobile services.

That Apple launches a service for the payment of digital content from the smartphone in partnership with Beeline, at the end of the year, told the broadcaster CNBC. So far, Russian operators of such services are not provided, and there is only one such partner Apple — the German O2. Apple’s cooperation and the “Beeline” and “MegaFon” organized according to the scheme of revenue sharing: the operator receives a percentage of purchases customers.

The new service is available from 3 November all clients of “MegaFon” in Russia on postpaid and prepaid tariff plans. In order to qualify, the subscriber must select “mobile phone” as a payment method in your account settings on the platforms of Apple Music, iTunes Store or App Store on any Apple device. Setting will be valid for all devices using that Apple ID.

Previously the operator of MTS declared about the technical readiness to introduce the possibility of payment of these services with Apple’s mobile phone account. “Waiting for readiness on the part of Apple,” he added.

Representatives of other operators did not indicate whether their company to cooperate with Apple and if they have any such plans. In most Apple declined to comment
