“MegaFon” will raise prices for subscribers of archival tariffs, said in a statement on the website of the operator. Changes will happen from July 24. Earlier, a similar decision was made by “Beeline”, whose actions became interested in FAS.
Along with the growth of tariffs of “MegaFon” will increase the size of mobile Internet packages, the company said. For example, the monthly fee for the second value of the packet rate in Nizhny Novgorod will increase by 10% to RUB 549, and traffic will grow from 8 to 9 GB
In those regions where there is significant growth in the use of subscribers of the traffic (40% or more), the operator increases the volume of mobile Internet packages, says the representative of “MegaFon”. Despite the fact that it sometimes leads to a small increase in monthly fee, the client is still cheaper than to pay for it beyond the pack, the company said.
12 Jul prices of archival tariffs have increased “Beeline”. The operator simply has to move its customers to package tariffs introduced in may. For Moscow subscribers fee then increased by 10-40%. Internet traffic in most of tariffs, “Beeline” also increased: for example, the second value of the rate rose by 10% to RUB 551 per month, traffic increased from 5 to 6 GB and voice communication decreased from 500 to 400 min.
FAS is analyzing these actions of the operators, said the head of the Department of communications and information technology services Elena zaeva. The price of services on archival tariff plans rises to the level of tariffs imposed in the new tariff plans, she says. The question is how much and for what period there was an increase, whether it is reasonable and justified — for example, adjusted for inflation.
In may, Tele2 also increased the price of two archival rate in Moscow – 50% and 16%. Now the operator of such changes are planned. MTS sometimes point changes rates, for example, gives more traffic and increase the price of the unclaimed services, recognizes the representative of the operator.
