The Irish people are protesting against the construction of a new data center Apple

Apple is trying to get permission for the construction of the data center cost over one billion dollars in County Galway, Ireland for more than two years. Last week the country’s Supreme court approved the construction.

However, not all residents were pleased with this turn of events and intend to appeal the court’s permission to the construction site. The case will return to court on Wednesday, October 25.

These same people tried to ban the construction of the data center Apple before, citing numerous environmental problems, but their complaint was rejected.

The issue of environmental protection was the main argument of opponents of construction from the beginning. They argue that data center Apple may have a negative impact on the local animal population and lead to potential problems of flooding on the Golf course next door.
