At WWDC Apple announced a 2017 iMac Pro. The output of the computer should take place within the next month. Developers and journalists are trying to find out new details associated with the device.
According to information found in the software BridgeOS 2.0 from Apple, iMac Pro will install the mobile processor A10 Fusion.
Likely, Apple is beginning to experiment with implementing their own processors in the Mac to better control their production.
Blogger Steve Troughton-Smith noted that the coprocessor can be used to activate “Hey Siri” in macOS.
Also, the blogger reported that A10 Fusion remains active even when the iMac Pro is turned off.
It is unknown how Apple wants to use A10 Fusion new Mac. But the fact that the processors from series A appear in the computers of the company, may indicate their occurrence in future MacBook and Mac mini. This will have a positive impact on the autonomy of the laptops and will allow Apple to abandon Intel.
It should be noted that the previously independent co-processor has already been installed in MacBook Pro. In the 2016 model year for the work Touch ID meets chip T1.
The official release date of iMac Pro is not named. Apple promised to begin selling before the end of the year.
