“The greatest designer of our time” by Jonathan Quince was invited to speak at the conference, Vanity Fair

In October of this year, Apple lead designer Jonathan Ive, will speak at the annual conference of Vanity Fair. Event organizers in a press release called Quince “the greatest industrial designer of our time”. The cost of tickets to the Vanity Fair conference 2015 is $5,500.

Ive became a guest of Vanity Fair in 2014. During the interview, he shared his view on smartphones with large screens, spoke about the work with watches Apple Watch, remembered his relationship with Steve jobs. At the meeting, he also made a number of provocative statements against your competitors. According to him, they are stealing the results of thousands of hours of work at Apple.

“I don’t see this as praise our achievements, I think this is theft,” said Ive, discussing Xiaomi is a Chinese company, which many accuse of production of clones of Apple products.

Ive recognized that its position may find it tough enough, but Apple itself suffers from lawsuits from Samsung and other manufacturers.
