Asus at the presentation of Hong Kong has introduced a new flagship smartphone ZenFone 3 Deluxe, based on the presented top chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. The cost of new items in the maximum configuration exceeded the cost of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
3 Deluxe ZenFone is the first smartphone with a 2.4-gigahertz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 821 and graphics Adreno 530. In the presence of the device 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, modem, LTE Cat 13, support for two SIM-cards and high-speed charging Quick Charge 3.0.
ZenFone 3 Deluxe is offered by the manufacturer in three configurations. The basic version includes 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB on the flash drive, and SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and valued at $500. Version with increased memory (6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory) is the most expensive at $60. But the price of the top variant with Snapdragon processor 821, 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of memory UFS 2.0 (plus support for microSD instead of the second SIM will be $780. For comparison, the iPhone 6s starts at $650 and the iPhone 6 Plus is available for $750.
Other technical specifications of new products identical to Asus: metal housing, battery capacity of 3000 mAh, NFC, a 23-megapixel camera (aperture f/2, the system of optical stabilization, laser autofocus and duchonova flash), 8MP front camera and a fingerprint scanner.
ZenFone 3 Deluxe will hit the market of Taiwan and Hong Kong in August, version with Snapdragon 821 will appear later.
